Still working on sorting out what's going on and how to recover.  I do have this feeling, though that I'm almost done so at least there's that.

5000 left

So there's only 5000 songs left to download on batch number one.  Not too bad considering.  Though R just rebooted the router, while trying to install a signal booster, which isn't going well, so all of those have probably stopped.  *sighs*  Oh well.  Back to the beginning...

I think...

...I've figured out how to trick iTunes into thinking that my library is smaller than it actually is and actually using the iTunes Match function!  It'll take a couple days to get it all sorted out but once it's done, all my songs will be better quality.  WooT!
